Annual Renewable Term Life Insurance and Primerica
Annual Renewable Term Life insurance is what Primerica sells and that is fine if you are only insuring yourself for a short period of time like a couple two or three years. However most people insure themselves through their working years because they do not have enough money in savings yet. The buy term and invest the difference concept is to pay as little for insurance as possible and invest the rest of the money. Many people don't know this but Dave Ramsey started his career as a Primerica salesman and that is why he preaches this concept on his show. I am not saying it is wrong, all I am saying is that it is not a fit for everyone.
There are problems with this strategy. The first problem is that the premium on your life insurance goes up every year. If you are interested in buying term life insurance, there is nothing wrong with the product, you can get a free quote here.
Problem number two: Primerica agents promote investing money in mutual funds and so does Dave Ramsey. Problem is, the stock market doesn't always go up. Imagine 30 years ago, you bought a "buy term and invest the difference plan" and your expecting retirement year was 2002. How do you think all of those people who bought into this scheme felt when they looked at their statement and it was down 50%. Most couldn't retire after this kind of loss. So they put off retirement only to suffer another 50% market loss again in 2008.

Let me ask you a question. If I were to tell you about a Black Jack table where you can only win or push, you can't lose. How long do you think you would play that table? You wouldn't get up, neither would I. Let me tell you about Fixed Indexed Annuities for saving for retirement. A fixed indexed annuity allows you to keep the lion's share of the stock markets gains without suffering the losses. If you would like more information on indexed annuities order our
free book "Stress-Free Retirement"

My personal choice is to combine both products into one! Introducing Fixed Indexed Universal Life. Just like the indexed annuity, this product gives you the lion's share of the stock market's gains without the losses.
Let me ask you another question. Do you think taxes are going to go up in the future or down? If you said up, you're right! With over 84 trillion in unfunded liabilities they have to go up. Wouldn't you rather have a tax-free retirement? If you would like more information on indexed universal life, order our free book "The Retirement Miracle"
